Holland, MI –Careerline Tech Center Graphic Design program student and Hudsonville High School senior Magdelyn Marchinkewicz beat out over 45,000 entries to win the top spot for the state of Michigan in the Doodle for Google art contest. Marchinkewicz is now one of five artists in the running to become a national winner.

Workshops Designed to Help Parents, Guardians, and Family Members of Students with Disabilities Navigate Life After School
Holland, MI - Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD) Transition Network Team is hosting a virtual transition workshop two-part series for parents/guardians/family members who have a young adult with a disability, and teachers, school staff, and others who are interested in helping students transition to life after school. Attendees can register for one or both of the workshops at no cost.

Categorized as essential, healthcare training has continued during the state-mandated “shutdown” while other classes were required to halt.
Holland, MI- A book distribution program facilitated by Ottawa Area ISD Young Adult Services (YAS) and Help Me Grow (HMG) provides free books to children at local agencies and helps students in the Young Adults Services-Holland program learn lifelong skills.

Holland, MI- The Ottawa Area ISD Parents as Teachers organization has earned a prestigious endorsement from the Parents as Teachers National Center, Inc., (PATNC) as a Blue Ribbon Affiliate, making it one of the top-performing home visiting affiliates within the PATNC’s international network.
Holland, MI – During a special meeting yesterday, October 5, the Ottawa Area ISD (OAISD) Board of Education voted unanimously to begin contract negotiations with Dr. Kyle Mayer to be the organization’s next Superintendent.
