      This training series is designed to build school capacity to design and implement effective individualized positive behavior support by training the right people in the skills to provide effective behavior support.  The target audience is district behavior coaches, school psychologists, school social workers, counselors, teachers, and other school staff who are a part of the team to develop or implement tier II and tier III behavioral supports for students.

      Students are coming to school with an increasing number of needs, often requiring multiple layers of support for success. This module will focus on layering strategies together in an efficient way to maximize success in school. Participants will leave with strategies for organizing multiple supports within the school setting.

      This course will prove an interactive experience to aid participants in identifying and processing social, legal, and ethical dilemmas in the areas of technology, relationships, and policy within the school setting.  Participants will practice applying a unique ethical framework to various ethically challenging cases to foster responsible school social work practices.
