CAREERLINE TECH CENTER STUDENT WINS NATIONAL DIESEL EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION
Holland, MI-Careerline Tech Center Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanics program student and recent Coopersville High School graduate Caleb Bouchard won the gold medal in the Diesel Equipment Technology competition at the 2022 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference on June 20 – 24 in Atlanta, GA.
CAREERLINE TECH CENTER STUDENT PLACES THIRD IN NATIONAL HEALTH CAREERS COMPETITION
Holland, MI- Sierra Kamphuis, a recent Careerline Tech Center (CTC) Dental Careers student and Jenison High School graduate, placed third in the Dental Science competition at the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) International Leadership Conference at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Conference Center in Nashville, Tennessee June 22-25.
CAREERLINE TECH CENTER STUDENTS EARN BREAKING TRADITIONS AWARDS
Holland, MI- Five Careerline Tech Center students were recipients of the 2022 Breaking Tradition Awards from the Michigan Department of Education. The awards are given to students who have demonstrated success in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs that are nontraditional to their gender. The recipients are:

Holland, MI- Four seniors from the Careerline Tech Center Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanics program at Careerline Tech Center took the top four places in the Regional SkillsUSA Diesel Equipment Technology competition at Lansing Community College Friday, February 25.

STUDENTS HONORED BY STATE FOR ROLE IN HISTORICAL MARKER
Holland, MI- State Representative Jim Lilly, R - Macatawa visited Careerline Tech Center Monday, May 14 to present two Careerline Tech Center students with State of Michigan Tributes. The students received the tributes in recognition of their work on the Hezekiah Smith Michigan Historical Marker in the City of Ferrysburg. Smith was a free Black man, landowner, and civil rights activist in Ottawa and Muskegon Counties in the late 1840s.
