Students put classroom knowledge to work by servicing customer cars which are brought into the auto mechanics lab. The jobs are varied with new problems and cars everyday. Through classroom and lab experiences, students have the opportunity to take a number of tests to gain State of Michigan certifications. The program is accredited by NATEF
(National Automotive Technician's Education Foundation) and our instructors are ASE Master certified.

The Automotive program may be taken for one or two years. First year students are placed into one of two groupings. Second year students switch areas.
