Teachers play a key role in Work-Based Learning through student placements and engaging all students with real-world career exposure. Whether it’s hosting a guest speaker, organizing a tour, promoting a career fair, or connecting students to internships, you help make classroom learning relevant and future-focused.
Your Role:
- Identify opportunities to engage business & industry to students
- Support career conversations in the classroom
- Assist with WBL forms and program expectations
- Recommend potential students for placement to your WBL Coordinator or area business partners
