The Lighthouse Girls Treatment Program is located in the Ottawa County Juvenile Detention Center. The program is a minimum of four months and open to females ages 12-17 under court jurisdiction who are not actively suicidal or pregnant.
Highly Qualified Teachers: The Ottawa Intermediate School District provides highly qualified teachers who are responsible for the academic education of the girls in the treatment program through daily instruction and individualized education plans.
Transition Coordinator: The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District also provides a transition coordinator that connects the girls to their local school for appropriate services and reintegration.
Educational Credits: On average, students completing the treatment program earn a semester's worth of high school credit while attending school year round from 8:25 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
