There are many Early Childhood programs offered in Ottawa County:

Parents as Teachers
Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a free and voluntary early learning program for parents with children birth to three years of age. The program provides family support including: parent education, child development, development screening, playgroups and service coordination to link families to other available services

Head Start

Head Start is a free, federal program for families who meet federal guidelines or have a special need. Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children zero to three.

Great Start School Readiness

Great Start School Readiness Program is a free preschool for four year old children who meet state guidelines (income criteria: i.e. family of 4 = up to $69,150). The program is housed in area school districts. It is offered in half-day sessions, morning or afternoon,Monday through Thursday.

School Based Tuition Preschool and Childcare

The goal of school district tuition preschool and child care programs is to provide a school readiness experience for children prior to kindergarten eligibility and to provide quality child care for working families.
