Prerequisites: Dental Assisting or Employment in a Dental Office

This seven week class will enable students to learn radiation history and safety, exposure techniques, and mounting procedures. Clinical work will provide hands-on practice in standard and digital radiography techniques. Successful class completion includes State of Michigan certification to take x-rays. Individuals achieving a passing grade will also receive a National Career Readiness Certificate at the Silver Level.
