Careerline Tech Center students have the unique opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. It gives students a head start...college credit for high school classes. Early college credit, is actual college credit earned while in the Engineering Design & Machine Technologies program. The credit appears on a college transcript and can be transferred to many colleges and universities throughout Michigan. A significantly reduced fee is charged for each college class. Classes offered for early college credit are taken through Lake Michigan College and Muskegon Community College.

Articulated Credit

Articulated credit is credit that a specific college/university grants for classes taken at Careerline Tech Center. Credit is posted to a transcript after the student has completed a certain number of classes at the college or university. There is no charge for articulated credit and it generally cannot be transferred from one college to another.
