Printing & Imaging Technology
Instructor: James Larsen
Paraprofessional: Amanda Berry
In Printing & Imaging Technology, students learn by doing. Students learn the basics of the major printing processes from design through digital imaging to final printed product. Those entering the Printing program should be creative, have good problem-solving skills, and enjoy working with other people.
Students learn all aspects of running a print shop. Students will assemble and maintain a portfolio of their work which will be graded throughout the year. Work is divided, with time spent on the computers learning various software programs, and the lab where students operate the printing and digital equipment.
